Getting to Santa Croce

By bus
Small electric buses (ATAF lines) C1C2C3,  and night bus services Nottetempo  operate in the city centre and will get you close to the Church.

Tickets can be purchased at many newsstands and tobacco sellers (usually “Tabacchi” in Italy display a sign with a big white “T” on a dark blue or black background) around the city.

In addition you can get them when you board the bus, asking the bus driver for a “biglietto”: in this case you will need exact change.

If you have a mobile phone you can also buy a ticket by sending a text message with the word “Ataf” to the number +39 339 9941264 (the cost is €1,20 + Phone Company prices) ; within a few seconds you will receive the answer with a code to show the bus inspector if requested.
