Visiting the complex of Santa Croce

Entrance and exit for individuals or families

The entrance for individuals or families is located in Largo Bargellini, the street you see on the left side of the building, facing the façade from the square in front of the Church.

Entering through the first gate of the porch next to the northern side of the Church, along Largo Bargellini, the Ticket Booth is on the right.

The exit door is the wooden one of the first Cloister, close to Santa Croce square.

Groups enter through the church door located on the left of the façade.

The access to the Complex can change due to special needs: visitors will receive different indications by the personnel of Santa Croce.


Opening times

Monday - Saturday
9:30 am - 5:30 pm (last admission is at 5:00 pm: the ticket office closes half an hour before closing time).

Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation: Epiphany (January 6), Assumption of Mary (August 15), All Saints Day (November 1), Feast of the Immaculate Conception (December 8)
2:00 pm - 5:30 pm (last admission is at 5:00 pm: the ticket office closes half an hour before closing time).

Note well: the Complex of Santa Croce is open on Easter Monday, Liberation Day from the Nazi Germany (April 25), Labour Day (May 1) and Republic Day (June 2).

Closing time can be anticipated in case of extraordinary events, such as Historical football matches played in June in the square in front of the Church. Please check our website closer to the time you are visiting to make sure the Complex is open or telephone +39 (0)55 2466105.

The ticket is valid for only one entrance, the same day it is stamped and purchased.

New Year’s Day (January 1), Easter, St. Anthony of Padua (June 13), St. Francis (October 4), Christmas (December 25), St. Stephen’s Day (December 26).
