"Del folle Amore": a concert in basilica for St. Francis Day
Wednesday, October 4th at 9pm, on the feast day dedicated to St. Francis, the Opera di Santa Croce and the Community of Friars Minor present a concert in collaboration with ORT - Orchestra della Toscana and Maggio Musicale Fiorentino.
The concert includes the participation of the ORT and the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Choir, and will feature the soprano Mathilde Barthélémy and choirmaster Lorenzo Fratini. Directed by Tito Ceccherini.

Domenico Stella, The Canticle of the creatures for choir and organ
Giuseppe Verdi, Laudi alla Vergine Maria, for female voice choir
Alessandro Solbiati, Del folle amore for soprano, mixed choir and orchestra - world premier - commissioned by the Fondazione ORT and Maggio Musicale Fiorentino
The event is free with admission prior to reservation; The Basilica will be open to the public from 8.15pm.
