Holy Week and Easter celebrations
The times of the Holy Masses during the Easter period.
The monumental complex will be open to the faithful for the celebration of the Holy Masses. Over the Holy Week and Easter period the times will be as follows:
- Friday, 31st March 2023, 10pm: arrival of the Via Crucis in Santa Croce. Blessing imparted by His Eminence Card. Giuseppe Betori and prayers with young boys of the Florentine diocese.
- Sunday, 2nd April 2023, 11am: Holy Mass with the Blessings of Palms. 6pm: Holy Mass
- Thursday, 6th April 2023, 6pm: Holy Mass with the Washing of Feet. The basilica remains open until 11pm
- Friday, 7th April 2023, 6pm: Liturgy of the Passion and Death of Our Lord
- Saturday, 8th April 2023, 10pm: Vigil and First Eucharist of Easter
- Sunday, 9th April 2023, 11am and 6pm: Eucharist on Easter Day. 5.30pm: Vespers. The monumental complex is closed for the whole day.
- Monday, 10th April 2023, 6pm: Holy Mass on Easter Monday
